Luke Bugeja is a distinguished aviation leader with over 30 years of operational, commercial, and financial experience spanning airlines, airports, and asset management.
Appointed CEO of Ferrovial Airports in May 2021, Luke’s career includes high-profile leadership roles worldwide. He previously served as an Operating Partner at Hermes GPE, overseeing their global transport investments. His extensive institutional background also features senior executive positions at OMERS (Ontario Municipal Employees Retirement System), Ontario Airport Investments, and Macquarie Bank Limited/MAp Airport.
Over a 14-year period, Luke held senior positions at Changi Airports International in Singapore, as well as European hubs including London City, Brussels, and Bristol airports. He also brings 16 years of core airline experience from his time at Qantas Airways and Virgin Blue. Luke holds an MBA from Deakin University and a Diploma in Tourism and Travel from William Angliss College in Melbourne.
